The Opportunity
LakeHouse Bath + Kitchen, a new showroom in Ontario’s Bruce Peninsula, needed a premium digital presence to match the elevated quality of their bath and kitchen offerings. With over 100+ products across multiple categories and finishes, the opportunity wasn’t just to “list inventory,” but to create a visually rich, intuitive platform that showcased their catalog, drove showroom visits, and was easy for staff to update long-term. We weren’t just building a website, we were building a tool to power their business.
Strategy
We approached this project through two parallel lenses: first, elevating the brand identity to reflect a local, premium experience; and second, building a custom CMS and product architecture that made content updates seamless and scalable. From brand clarity to backend usability, every decision was guided by long-term flexibility and conversion goals.
Insights & Evolution
This project validated the value of custom CMS architecture over plug-and-play solutions for product-heavy small businesses. By designing a backend that reflected the client’s unique product structure, we enabled long-term independence and faster updates without sacrificing UX or design integrity.
